"Will someone get this walking carpet out of my way?"
Slate has a fun feature asking writers and directors what movie they have seen the most times. This isn't necessarily your favorite movie, just the most endlessly watchable. (Who knew Spike Lee was a "West Side Story" fan?)
For me, I have seen "Star Wars" the most. No other movie comes close. When I was kid I saw it at least 20 times. It's not my favorite movie anymore, but I watched it again for the first time recently when I finally caved and bought a used copy of the DVD, and it still holds up for the most part. (I don't buy the argument that people of my generation hate the new ones because we grew up with the old ones. Yes, the old ones are cheesy, but Han Solo redeemed them.) Plus, I still most of the dialogue.
What movie have you seen the most times?

Probably "Predator." Just watched it again the other night. "Scarface" is probably close, though.
"Mallrats", with "Dodgeball" closing in on 2nd...
Have seen "Star Wars" maybe twice, with no desire to see it again.
I've seen Big Lebowski and Dazed and Confused more times than I can count. In college, we had those on pretty much constant rotation every time we... relaxed. And we relaxed quite a lot. Running a close third? The BBC adaptation of Pride & Prejudice. (Which I'm not sure counts since it was more of a miniseries than a theatrical release.) Every now and again, I can be sickeningly girly.
There was a period of my life where I watched "Menace II Society" every day for about three months, I think.
And I saw "Friday" at the theater six days in a row. Seriously.
"The Blues Brothers"
It's on TBS like every other weekend, and I catch myself watching it every time.
Office Space -- when my college roommate and I didn't have jobs, we (oddly enough) pretended it was by choice. We watched it, then rewound it, and watched it again, like, two semesters in a row, every day.
Man, we were losers.
Christmas Story...easily. I've watched it 2-3 times annually for the past, well...how long has it been on VHS?
Roommates play a big role in this though. When I lived with my brother, we watched Lebowski daily. When I lived with lunkhead baseball players, it was Tommy Boy daily.
For me it "As Good as it Gets", or "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"
My favorite "The Nightmare Before Christmas", and probably a close second is "Breakfast Club"
U.H.F., "Weird Al" Yankovic's underrated comedy from 1989. I saw it five times in the theater, and it was only in theaters for three weeks. Then, for a period in high school, I watched U.H.F. on video once a week. I reckon I've seen the movie 70 times. But after my binge in high school, I went a long time without seeing it, until it came out on DVD a couple of years ago. It's still pretty funny, but I have no idea what compelled such obsessive viewing. I guess I was just a big "Weird Al" fan and the movie was the perfect manifestation of that fandom. Incidentally, I didn't do much dating in high school.
"French Kiss" and "The Princess Bride." I have them memorized.
Either "Friday" or "Pulp Fiction." "Pulp Fiction" was the first movie I ever saw twice in one day at the theater. Good times.
I think mine would be "Old School". That is a great flick!
